2.  Joseph Stone, b. 29 September 1874 in Red Lion Inn, Elton, Derbyshire.  He married Clara Heathcote, b. 20 September 1878 in Elton, Derbyshire, (daughter of George (Jun) Heathcote and Agnes) d. 24 May 1963 in Elton.  Joseph died 20 September 1956 in Elton.

                             Children:

                      i.     Phylis Buxton Stone, b. 16 December 1907 in Elton, Derbyshire.  She married Herbert Newton, occupation Miner.  Phylis died 17 January 1994 in The Manor, Nursing Home, Winster, Derbyshire.

                      ii.    Reginald Rex Stone, (details excluded).  He married Millie.

            3.       iii.    Clifford John Stone b. 14 July 1919.
